Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 2025

ChildCare Solution is a placement service for babysitters. We believe in providing caring and compassionate sitters for children and their families. We strive to place sitters in your home who will provide a secure and loving atmosphere for your children while you are away from them.

Services and Fees:

Registration Fee: The registration fee is a one-time fee which gives you access to our sitter database.

  • Registration Fee: $100

If you are only looking for a semester placement and do not plan to use our babysitting services you will not be charged this fee until your placement is secured.

Sitter Fee: (To be paid to the sitter at the time of their service)

  • $18 per hour minimum for 1 or 2 children (3 hour minimum)

  • $20 per hour minimum for 3+ children (3 hour minimum)

  • $22+ per hour for Holidays

These are minimums and we strongly recommend paying in addition to this. The typical hourly rate for sitters in the Nashville area is ~$20-$25/hr.

Multiple Family Fee: All local families must be registered with ChildCare Solution. Above rates apply for one family. Additional families can be included on a job with an extra fee of $5/hour paid to the sitter.

Placement Fee: (billed from ChildCare Solution)

  • Sitter Placement with at least 48 hours notice - $10

  • Sitter Placement with less than 48 hour notice - $15

  • Sitter Placement with less than 24 hour notice - $20

  • Requests received after 2pm on Fridays (or on a holiday) for a Sat, Sun or Monday sitter - $20

  • Overnight placement - $25 (up to 2 nights)

  • Semester Placements are based on number of days per week

All fees will be billed monthly via an invoice sent to the client via email.

Policies:

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, the placement fee will be charged if we already have a sitter confirmed for the job. If a cancellation is made less than 4 hours prior to the job the family will be required to pay the 3 hour minimum for the sitter.

Family Setup Policy: Sitters are not allowed to accept a sitting job without informing ChildCare Solution. The family must inform ChildCare Solution of any jobs offered directly to the Sitter so the appropriate fees can be applied and the sitters availability changed in our booking system

Sick Policy: If you need a sitter for a sick child this information must be disclosed when requesting a sitter.

Payment Policy: Invoices are due upon receipt. A finance will be assessed for invoices paid after 30 days. ACH payment is preferred but we do accept personal checks, debit, and credit card payments. Family Contract

Liability:

ChildCare Solution is not in any way liable for any loss, damage, expense or injury which the client or any other person may suffer or incur as a result of the wrongful acts, omissions, or negligence of the Sitter. ChildCare Solution is a referral service and shall not be liable for any damages caused by the Sitters, who are independent contractors. ChildCare Solution is not responsible for events beyond their control. ChildCare Solution is not liable for any claims of whatever nature the Sitter may have against the client.

Modifications:

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services means you accept any changes.

Communication Policy:

Clients can opt in to receive text messages from Childcare Solution. The types of messages sent include connecting with potential clients or employees and scheduling childcare services for current clients. Message frequency may vary but in most cases occur on a weekly basis. Message and data rates may apply. For assistance, text HELP, and to opt out, text STOP.
